Experience
I tutored students in high school at a local grammar school, and I also volunteered at a homeless shelter for battered women and their children. I have also helped tutor my younger sibling. I am bilingual being fluent in Spanish for any students that are learning Spanish, or wanting to learn English as a second language if their first language is Spanish. My other strong subjects would be Writing, English, Grammar, Language Arts, and Reading, although I have excelled at the other subjects listed as well such as History and Psychology. Before deciding on my current major I took advanced classes in Psychology, English, and Journalism. I have always been an exceptional writer, including essays, short stories, screenwriting, poetry, and tv/ radio scripts. I would be a good match for any students who might be struggling with writing essays or wanting to improve their writing skills. Besides that I have previously worked at an amusement park, a museum, and at a dog daycare center.
